  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Opportunity/Responsibilities

The Product Development team at Sunbird Bio in Singapore is searching for a motivated, and detail-oriented Research Officer (Manufacturing) to:

  • Perform well-defined procedures within a production setting.
  • Perform equipment monitoring.
  • Perform routine sanitization tasks to maintain facility standards.
  • Perform techniques such as but not limited to pH measurements, protein concentration measurements, antibody conjugation and antibody affinity purification etc.
  • Perform a variety of molecular and immunology related assays such qPCR and ELISA.
  • Operating equipment such as plasma machine and vacuum sealer.
  • Demonstrate aseptic technique in the handling of product and materials.
  • Perform basic process & equipment troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Multi-task on equipment preparations & operations to ensure adherence to schedule.
  • Use Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), logbooks & Batch Records (BRs) effectively & competently and able to complete all documentation according to Good Documentation Practices standards.
  • Become a technical process expert by exhibiting basic understanding of critical process/operational parameters and target/acceptable ranges, as well as interactions between different process parameters.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with molecular biology assays (e.g. qPCR, ELISA).
  • Experience with antibody production processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of aseptic processing within a classified environment is an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Prior industry experience is an advantage.
  • Strong desire to learn continuously.
  • Able to work independently and in a collaborative manner with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
