Overview

The Senior Manager will support the Centre for Innovation in Healthcare (CIH) Head in leading the CIH services and initiatives as well as the NUHS Practice Changing Innovation (PCI) programme to drive innovation projects at various stages of the healthcare innovation journey, to progress them towards the final goal of deployment and clinical adoption of the innovation.

Job Descriptions
  1. Support CIH to lead the management of CIH team to deliver CIH's services and KPIs including charting of CIH's strategy and progress updates to stakeholders
  2. Support CIH Head to lead the Practice Changing Innovations (PCI) programme to drive innovations towards deployment and adoption in NUHS hospitals, clinics and healthcare community and beyond
  3. Lead the PCI secretariat in conducting
  4. Manage external and internal innovators interested to conduct usability trial studies, clinical trials or Health Technology Assssments (HTA) in NUHS hospitals, clinics and healthcare community
  5. Responsible for end-to-end management of the projects by working closely with CIH Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC)
  6. Forge new partnerships and maintain relationships with CIH healthcare ecosystem partners to support CIH innovators
  7. Works closely with CIH team to strengthen engagement of our healthcare ecosystem partners through organisation of CIH events or implementation of new initiatives
  8. Leads in ad-hoc innovation events and projects.
  9. Monitor and manage fund utilization and availability.
  10. Support in HR related functions and annual manpower budgeting.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent. Other qualifications in Business or Entrepreneurship preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare innovation activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong team player
  • Have keen interest in health innovations
  • Able to work in a complex organisational environment, with a need to balance expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Able to tackle complicated research, regulatory and contractual issues independently
  • Proficient in I.T. systems and MS Office applications
