Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented leader! As the Sales Manager, you will work directly with the founder & General Manager to lead and manage the brand’s offline sales operations. You will be developing and executing on offline sales strategy to drive growth and profitability. You will build a high-performing sales team through hiring, training, and leading. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to effectively meet the company's strategic objectives in terms of sales, profit, and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
  • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
  • Preparing financial projections and sales targets
  • Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
  • Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
  • Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Recruit sales personnel, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
  • Ensure that Sterra’s Sales targets are met by holding daily check-ins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
  • Develop plans to use new technologies to improve business processes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of offline Sales experience from an e-commerce or retail background, with experience leading a sales team
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities
  • Flexible and adapt to work in an exciting start-up environment

Other Information:

  • Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm. OT may be required from time to time depending on business needs.
