Key Tasks:

  • Perform daily export operational activities (execution of shipments, follow up on documentations).
  • Provide customer service support through liaising with customers, shippers, overseas agents and network partners.
  • Follow up on airline space and make bookings as and where.
  • Ensure all export processes are carried out in accordance with established procedures and instructions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely preparation of documents for customs clearance, permit applications, delivery order, packing list for export and third-party consignments in compliance with customer requirements and import/export regulations are met.
  • Timely and accurate billing/invoicing to customers accordingly and as per schedule including COD customers.
  • Timely and accurate costing of vendor invoices.
  • Arrange timely delivery/collection of cargoes as and when required.
  • Handle all customers’ queries and complaints with a professional attitude.
  • Involvement with work improvement by registering service failures due to non-conformance of procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation for new customers.
  • Ensure that both global and department KPIs are met.

Educational Background & Work Experience:

  • At least with minimum 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, export operations.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment.

Language Skills:

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

Computer Literacy:

  • Must be computer literate, and Cargowise experience will be an added advantage (but not critical).
