Sustainability Consultant (Data center)

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Sustainability Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a background in sustainability. With 1+ years of relevant experience, the candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our corporate and Data Centre sustainability objectives.

The Role: The Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for developing and promoting our corporate sustainability goals, guiding all initiatives to align with financial and environmental objectives. This role involves creating efficient systems for reporting and information sharing, collaborating with stakeholders to define and achieve their key performance indicators. Additionally, the candidate will manage both internal and external sustainability communications, producing ongoing educational resources on pertinent sustainability topics. Institutionalizing sustainability practices through thorough documentation and quarterly policy reviews will be essential, alongside tracking corporate sustainability goals and metrics. The Sustainability Engineer will also analyze data to produce regular reports and conduct audits to gather information for content development. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainability will be a critical part of this role.

Ideal Candidate: Candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities and meticulous attention to detail. A genuine curiosity about corporate responsibility, environmental efficiency, and sustainability reporting is essential. Familiarity with local and international standards, such as BCA Green Mark for Data Centers and Buildings, SS564 Green Data Centre, and ISO 14001 Environment Management System, is highly desirable. Strong analytical and project management skills will be necessary to track progress and generate reports effectively. As a motivated self-starter, the candidate should demonstrate resourcefulness and independence in their work.
