As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, commercialization, and operationalization and drive the growth of your product category. You are involved in full product lifecycle management which includes defining requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, market research, and business goals. You will work closely and support cross-functional teams and our partners and become the point of coordination for ensuring the products deliver the best value and experience for our customers. You will need to be able to build strong rapport, be curious, meticulous and have solid technical competency.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize new product opportunities for the product category, based on market trends, customer needs and competitive analysis
  • Source, build and maintain relationships with our partners, working closely to design and manufacture new product models
  • Lead and drive product development, conduct consumer and market research, define product requirements, lead and drive product launches, develop and maintain user manuals, and manage product roadmaps and timelines
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy by taking into consideration of the global view. e.g.: opportunities and target customers, initial development of the positioning, value proposition, pricing framework as well as initial capacity plans)
  • Partner with software development teams on the product requirements and oversee smart home integration for the product category
  • Work with marketing to monitor and drive product success
  • Drive innovation within product areas with industry trends and best practices
  • Ensure senior management are up to date with reports and communication on the progress of the product category
  • Any other ad-hoc task as assigned by the Company

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline e.g., Management, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering or Finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience in B2B product management experience with ability to independently lead the agenda.
  • No fear of the unknown. You have to be an analytical self-starter, comfortable with complete uncertainty as we look to venture into new product lines or models. You need to be able to dive in and test all angles without supervision.
  • Data driven. You need to be able to structure, quantify and qualify information on product research, and present this to stakeholders explaining the logic. Comfort with spreadsheet software and data modelling is essential.
  • Strong Business acumen – Understanding of the wider environment within which our business operates and implications of e.g., trends / shifts in sustainability and consumer perception, brand owners’ opportunity & challenges, and being able to drive actionable insights and articulate what products/services to offer to accelerate profitable growth.
  • Detailed oriented with strong project management skills on multi-market projects
