Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with business clients, handling tender process, and helping clients to achieve success with the company’s products or services. You will be focusing on building long-term relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and fostering business growth by maintaining and expanding current accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with business clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and its B2B clients.
  • Understand the client’s needs, business objectives, and industry trends to provide relevant solutions.
  • Provide excellent after-sales service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Account Growth & Development:

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell products or services.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to evaluate performance and present new opportunities.
  • Proactively seek ways to add value to the client’s business and foster account expansion.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Achieve sales targets through account retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for acquiring new business within existing accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demos tailored to client needs.

Negotiation, tender & Contract Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, tender process and service agreements to benefit both the company and the client.
  • Manage the renewal process of contracts and ensure timely closure of deals.

Problem Resolution & Support:

  • Serve as an advocate for the client, addressing any concerns or challenges they may face.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., customer support, product development) to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Data & Reporting:

  • Monitor client account performance and provide regular reports on sales, revenue, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage client interactions and sales pipelines.

Market & Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates to effectively address client needs.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions to influence product development and service improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client services in a B2B environment.
  • Experience handling tender process
  • Experience in collaboration solutions, IoT, or related fields would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
  • Strong ability to negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Ability to analyze client data and market trends to make informed recommendations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, able to think strategically and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
