  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

VP KYC Compliance Officer- Leading Private Bank in Singapore

Our client, a leading Private Bank in Singapore is looking for a seasoned KYC Compliance candidate with at least 8 years of KYC experience and the position will be primarily focusing on PEP periodic review and High Risk Account Opening by ensuring that the accounts opened and maintained with the Bank are in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibility of the role:

  • To perform enhanced due diligence reviews of High Risk and PEP clients (For Account Opening and Periodic Review) and to advise business on compliance and regulatory issues relating to KYC.
  • To handle queries from the internal clients (Front office/ operations)/external auditors and internal auditors in relation to KYC matters.
  • To handle internal requests to liaise with IT department regarding system issues and enhancement and to undertake other projects (if any)

Requirements of the role:

  • Degree or recognized professional qualifications, ideally in business, accounting or law.
  • A min of 8 years relevant KYC experience in Global Financial Institutions (preferably in the private banking space) with knowledge of the Singapore regulations, i.e. Banking Act, SFA, FAA.
  • You should be able to work both independently and in a team environment and ability to handle stress e.g handling demands from front office and manage the relationships with other stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of a Bank’s new client onboarding process, complying with regulatory requirements, i.e. prompt turnaround time, prompt follow up on pending documents
  • Strong communication skills and writing skills in English.
