Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee a broad range of treasury functions, corporate governance activities, and audit-related responsibilities, all while collaborating with key stakeholders to drive business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Treasury
- Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, bank loan administration, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage intercompany loans and ensure accurate financial record-keeping for banking operations.
- Maintain an updated bank account master database, consolidated reports on banking facilities, charges, and utilization.
- Lead efforts in opening and maintaining bank accounts, internet banking platforms, and applying for bank facilities.
- Partner with internal teams to manage foreign exchange (FX) and trade financing activities.
- Identify new business opportunities by evaluating and negotiating funding schemes with banks, driving improvements in existing arrangements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on tax compliance requests such as FATCA, ensuring timely submission.
- Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow consolidations for both short- and medium-term financial needs.
Corporate
- Assist in drafting directors' and shareholders' resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements and regulatory obligations across the group.
Accounting and Audit
- Support audit processes, including the preparation of bank and directors’ confirmations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with financial reporting standards and group guidelines.
- Review payments and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Others
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic support to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the Legal Department on banks’ Letters of Offer, negotiating terms and conditions with financial institutions.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, or accounting, preferably within a large corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with senior management and external partners.
- Experience working with financial reporting standards and managing audit processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
