Summary:

The Assistant Cyber Services Manager (aCSM) will manage and coordinate the investigation of cyber security incidents. This person will consult, advise, and engage with clients regarding information security and risk management best practices. In the case of insurance policyholders, this person will ensure they use the risk management resources they are entitled to receive under their policies. A key requirement of the role is achieving high levels of satisfaction for clients through excellent client service, to maximize retention. Other duties may include external service providers, ensuring customer satisfaction with the incident response process, and working with Beazley business units to improve product and service offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Manage cyber incidents for clients, including liaison with internal stakeholders, recording appropriate MI (management information) and managing third-party experts.
  • Claims Management: Work with Beazley’s Claims and UCO teams to ensure that services are consistent with insurance policy obligations.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction including working with channel partners like insurance brokers.
  • Marketing & Sales Support: Assist with marketing and sales efforts as needed including contributing towards thought leadership and attending events and/or meetings as appropriate.
  • Expert Resource: Follow and understand existing and emerging tools and product trends in the information security market.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a technical, legal or business management discipline, ideally with an information security element.
  • Any insurance background would be desirable such as claims function, underwriting, operations, etc.
  • Relevant professional experience is desirable, e. g., in incident response management, Red/Blue Teaming, network & system administration, ISMS auditing, or similar.
  • One of the following is desirable:
  • Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
  • Other relevant cyber-Security and/or incident response or cyber certifications
  • Ability to effectively work in crisis and pressure situations.
  • Outcome-focused, self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Open-minded, able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Professional approach to interact successfully with managers/colleagues/external legal and other service providers.
