Assistant Manager of Human Resources
Job Descriptions:
Hiring Strategies:
· Develop and implement robust talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
· Ensure hiring processes are aligned with business needs and organizational goals.
· Leverage data analytics to refine hiring processes and enhance the candidate experience.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
· Partner with department heads and other key stakeholders (including MOE) to understand workforce requirements and plan hiring activities accordingly.
· Collaborate on workforce planning initiatives to ensure a balanced talent pipeline.
· Support hiring managers in making informed recruitment decisions.
Recruitment and Selection:
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers with candidates.
· Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
· Utilize innovative sourcing methods and maintain a presence across relevant talent pools.
Employee Onboarding & Retention:
· Coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
· Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
Transformation and Improvement Projects:
· Lead or contribute to HR transformation and improvement initiatives, aimed at optimizing talent acquisition processes.
· Implement tools and technology to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
· Own the Appraisal Knowledge Management and act as the champion for the module.
HR Operations:
· Manage WICA and Work Pass applications
· Prompt review of SOPs and update as needed.
Ad-hoc Hosting Events:
· Opportunity to host external guests and visitors on a needs basis
Requirements:
· A good Degree in HR or any discipline
· Strong knowledge in Talent Acquisition / HR Business Partnering is preferred
· Candidates should have 2-3 years managerial experience.
· People-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
· Highly motivated, meticulous, independent and adaptable to change
· Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
· Abreast with current employment legislations and HR practices.
