If you are our Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) Manager in Singapore, you will have a chance to :

  • Reporting to Global EHS Regional team, to ensure that the site’s overall environmental health and safety program, EHS performance and Dashboard updated and in compliance with legal, company requirements at site.
  • Participate in regular meetings, communicate on the existing EHS issues, and work out action plan for these existing EHS issues and ensure effectiveness and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Organize and conduct regular EHS inspection to discover potential EHS risk, follow up relevant corrective actions till effective closure.
  • Be responsible for all EHS regulatory Trainings/Programs/licenses/Permit, convening Emergency Response Team members and implementing, conduct Emergency Drill and Response Plan.
  • Be responsible for incident and injury reporting, investigating and corrective actions, and follow up corrective and preventive actions and ensure effective closure.
  • Be responsible for identifying and forecasting EHS training needs and ensure the completion of EHS training for relevant employees.
  • In charge of contractor/supplier management and ensure all contractor/supplier follow up HP EHS standards and requirements
  • Participate in the process of the project of office renovation and innovation so as to make sure these projects to meet EHS requirements
  • Liaise with external authorities, such as the work safety bureau, fire bureau, and environmental protection bureau on EHS issues and is the point of contact for those external agencies.
  • Coordinate and help solve relevant work safety, health and fire safety issues with the Facilities/Property Management Company, Landlord and Business Units.
  • Good knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore regulations on implementing rules and regulations for the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards law.
  • Support remotely to manage EHS management in other South East Asia HP Site and provide expertise to APJ EHS sharing to other sites in APJ countries.

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • University degree in science required, with safety engineering, environmental engineering or chemical engineering or safety engineering or mechanical engineering is recommended.
  • Possess the Certificate required Qualified Workplace Safety and Health, Ministry of Manpower, as a qualified Safety Officer. As a competent person to act as Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), WSH Act and Fire Safety Act as Fire Safety Manager (FSM), in the implementation of EHS Program with duties and responsibilities as WSH Officers
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist / Certificate Associate Industrial Hygienist or at least any local diploma in industrial hygiene.
  • Certified Professional Ergonomist / Associate Ergonomics Professional or at least any local diploma in ergonomics.
  • At least 5 years experiences in manufacturing process, preferably chemical process.
  • At least 3-9 years of environmental, health and safety experience required
  • Good knowledge on implementing rules and regulations of the WSH Act and Regulations and Singapore law.
  • Good knowledge on implementing, understanding rules and regulations of the Safety and Health Standards related to Air Emission, Noise, Waste & Water, Industrial Hygiene, Workplace Ergonomic, Fire Safety, Training and ISO Systems.
  • Lead auditor for ISO 14k/45K Management System
  • Trained and qualified in First Aider and Fire Safety management
