What The Role Is
You develop National Service (NS) Human Resource (HR) plans in the Digital & Intelligence Service (DIS).
What You Will Be Working On
On this, you understand, develop and enhance DIS-specific HR provisions to enable NSmen to contribute to intelligence, digital, and cyber work in more flexible and meaningful ways. You collaborate with various stakeholders to address NS policy clarifications within the Service. In addition, you develop HR ecosystems to allow us to engage NSmen and DIS alumni, track their talent development, and interest them in DIS’ regular job opportunities. Your challenge lies in effectively planning the NS workforce and HR resources, considering both practicalities and sensitivities. This includes creating policies that enable work to be done despite the short NS recall period and security concerns. Lastly, you need to collaborate with other policy stakeholders to develop custom solutions that meet DIS' specific needs.
What We Are Looking For
You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with at least 2 years' working experience in related fields. Being self-driven, resourceful and results oriented is required. You must also demonstrate critical thinking and effective written and oral communication skills, and be confident in engaging stakeholders at all levels. Possession of logical thinking skills, integrity, and the ability to plan and conduct user research is essential. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
