Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage direct accounts and assign distributors /channel partners in Asia/Pacific countries.
  • Develop new industrial business and expand existing business by conducting comprehensive market analysis and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals that benefit Coherent and our customers.
  • Provide accurate quarterly and annually business forecasts and achieve the booking targets.
  • Support factories and product lines with needed market, application, and customer related information.
  • Develop and implement short- and longer-term business growth strategies and achieve the growth goals.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in a science, engineering, or photonics-related field or its equivalents with at least 05 years of relevant sales experience in similar industries.
  • Experiences in laser or laser-based sub-system/system sales or business development background will be a plus.

Skills

  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to develop and foster long-term effective relationships with customers; experienced in channel partner management with good track record. Experiences in using SFDC is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork with distributors, integrators, and internal partners is a MUST. Self-motivated active learner on new products, applications and markets, and an ambitious and skilful business manager with creative solution-oriented abilities on the real problems.
  • A team player with good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; experienced in coordinating and managing between different internal functional departments and channel partners or customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.
  • Possess the drive and passion to meet/exceed sales targets. Maintain and update business forecast in regular base and per management requirement using SFDC.
