Job Description Summary:

As the Senior Director of Marketing for the APAC region you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for the company’s payment products for the millions of merchants who use the company today and drive acquisition of new merchants for tomorrow. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of the APAC market, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams. Close collaboration with senior sales leadership and other marketing functions will be crucial to your success.

Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement high impact marketing strategies tailored to the APAC market, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Market Expertise: A clear understanding of the APAC region with a successful track record of launching and managing brands within these geo markets.
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Develop creative ways to advance growth and engagement strategies by leveraging new channels and partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and the ability to effectively communicate and cultivate meaningful relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and track campaign performance, utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, commercial and channel partner regional teams to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Execution: Oversee the implementation of cross-functional strategies, collaborating closely with US-based leadership to ensure seamless integration of global priorities and regional execution.


About You:


  • You are a strategic leader, with experience in building marketing strategies that stand out.
  • Proven experience of building marketing value propositions that resonate with merchants.
  • Experience of developing high impact campaigns across all channels from paid, owned, social and events.
  • You are a creative thinker and enjoys developing new ideas
  • Experience working for a global company though cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers across diverse markets within APAC, ensuring alignment with regional business needs and cultural nuances.
  • Leadership Excellence: Experienced in leading teams focused on paid acquisition and lead generation.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in demand generation and paid acquisition, including 5+ years in a senior role at a B2B SaaS or high-tech company.
  • Portfolio of strong SMB marketing campaigns resulting in building brands, driving business growth & user acquisition, including across traditional and digital/social platforms.
  • Prior experience in working with Matrix organization globally
  • Sharp analytical skills for data interpretation and actionable insights.
  • Exceptional team management and coaching abilities.
