Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to oversee all in-house operational execution matters. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a knack for problem-solving and the ability to implement the latest VC tools to drive productivity. You will lead the team in operational performance and execute tactical hiring and recruiting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Optimisation:

  • Oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations across all departments.
  • Streamline operational procedures and introduce efficiencies that enable scalable growth.
  • Implement cutting-edge VC tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements.

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
  • Lead internal teams to foster collaboration and high performance across functions.

Hiring and Recruitment:

  • Oversee the recruitment process to attract top talent across all functions.
  • Ensure the hiring strategy aligns with the firm’s goals, culture, and long-term vision.
  • Work closely with department heads to define hiring needs and onboard key talent effectively.

Strategic Implementation:

  • Stay updated with real-time strategies and processes at top VC funds.
  • Adapt and implement best practices to keep Motion Ventures at the forefront of the industry.
