Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client in the consumer electronics industry and they are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead their brick-and-mortar operations, focusing on mass merchandisers. This is a leadership role where you will oversee day-to-day sales activities and drive the success of their distribution team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct sales activities across brick-and-mortar channels, including mass merchandisers, independent retailers, and wholesalers.
- Ensure the attainment of critical performance indicators such as dealer sell-through, inventory management, channel profitability, aging stock, and accounts receivable/payable.
- Efficiently allocate and manage the distribution budget to maximize return on investment and meet established targets.
- Work in close partnership with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive sales performance and improve operational effectiveness.
- Implement process improvements and innovative changes to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance by channel and product to increase profitability and support business growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales management, particularly in brick-and-mortar and mass merchandising environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of driving performance.
- Expertise in inventory management, channel profitability, and budget control.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
