Enhancing the employment and employability of persons with disability is a key outcome for SG Enable. The Service Development (Employment) department is responsible for overseeing capability building of employers and disability employment professionals, to better support the employment and retention of persons with disabilities. This includes the Enabling Mark, a national-level accreditation framework that benchmarks and recognises organisations for their best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment; and outreach and partnership efforts with key stakeholders for disability-inclusive employment.

You will support the Service Development (Employment) department to work with different stakeholders, supporting outreach and partnership efforts, and the administration of the Enabling Mark.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of the Enabling Mark – a national-level accreditation framework that benchmarks and recognises organisations for their best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment. This includes handling enquiries, managing website content, assessing the Enabling Mark applications, and handling award nominations.
  • Support in codifying best practices of leading organisations in disability inclusiveness, to inspire employers to adopt best practices to build an inclusive workforce.
  • Marketing of Enabling Mark and conduct partner engagements as part of employer outreach to garner awareness and interest.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including agencies with employer networks and industry partners, to identify and drive collaboration areas and amplify disability-inclusive hiring.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and initiatives.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

  • A good degree and track record
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience; including experience in partnership development, preferably in the social impact sector
  • Applicants who are familiar with the disability sector and training industry, and experience in partnerships would have an added advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English, able to write, present and communicate well
  • Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines, adaptable to changing circumstances, resourceful in problem solving and meticulous
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
