About the Department

Banking Operations - Loan Operations is responsible for activities related to the operational groups that support the revenue generating business lines of the firm. Responsibilities may include general account operations, loan closing, loan documentation & processing, and other related activities. The Mortgage Servicing Operations area is responsible for operations and related activities supporting the Mortgage Servicing business and/or products. The Loan Operations focus specializes in activities ranging across two or more loan operations focuses, including Documentation, Processing and Servicing.

The Corporate and Commercial Banking Operations function is responsible for the operational support to the Corporate and Commercial Banking business areas, including transaction banking.

Job Responsibilities

The trade support officer is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Enterprise Banking team, ensuring all trade -related activities are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Desk

• Vetting/Submission of documents such as LC,SG,TT, PG, TR financing
• Check for completion of documents submitted against LC Negotiation and Documentary Collection forms
• Verification customer signature on the documents submission
• Registration and create LC and SG application via FITAS system
• Raise and scan Offering Sheet to seek approval from BM when required
• Imaging TT, LC, PG application via EWF for ITSR/remittance retrieval
• Arrange for Insurance Coverage with UOI on LC application as per customer request
• Record daily incoming Inward Bills/Inward Collection
• Call customer for confirmation on all FAX applications and check their fax indemnity granted
• Handle customer enquiries and also guide them on all the trade transactions
• Batch down documents from customer to ITSR Tampines
• After releasing document need to follow up on their instruction status via FITAS system
• Handle archiving via iron mountain retrieve /collection
• Save all those trade offering sheet to the share folder
• Compile month-end report
• General Filing

Admin
• Morning excess (scan and email to BM)
• Credit master access to print LO /SLO
• Closing of trade account / update SI via e-approval system
• Collating of reports
• Check for documents and scan for submission to Middle Office(MO)
• Raise documentation checklist to MO
• Arrange courier for BM to collect / deliver documents
