Adecco is partnering with a Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management company, we are looking for Ocean Freight Operations Executive to join their business!
Reporting to the Operation Manager, based at client site located at Changi South (East), responsibilities include managing daily warehouse operation, coordinating with shipping company, liaising with customer,
- Permanent, Full-time opportunity
- Location: East Region, Changi South
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 6.15pm (Regular OT)
- Salary Package: up to $4,000 basic + AWS + VB
- Source competitive rates for all shipment to enhance service offering.
- Identify potential business opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Follow up on shipment status, prepare and process shipment, and provide timely update for customers.
- Coordinate collection and delivery of shipments with contractors to meeting shipping line and co-loader closing times.
- Handle all documentation for shipment, maintain organized records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Ensure all COD (Cash on Delivery) customer payments are collected prior to the release of the Bill of Lading or Delivery to customers.
- Respond promptly to all messages and inquiries related to operational matters.
- Continuous improvement task taker to maintain high level services to dedicated client.
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Must possess Class 3 Driving License.
- Must have prior Ocean import/export documentation experience.
- Able to work OT with a learning mindset.
