Summary
We are searching for an organised and meticulous personnel to join our Engineering department! You will be part of the Contracts and Cost Management team and will be working closely with different vendors and service providers to acheive the following outcomes:- Adherence to contractual service levels;
- Maintaining healthy statement of account across all vendors; and
- Resolve critical issues impacting operational requirements.
The successful applicant is expected to be independent and resourceful, with relevant knowledge in aviation and various maintenance service agreements.
Job Description
Contract Management
To manage and maintain high level of services from Suppliers & Vendors in areas of Aviation Engineering;
Oversee and manage vendors' contractual obligations, service level agreement compliance and compensation; and
Participate in Tender exercise, Request for Proposal and Negotiations with Suppliers and Vendors for the award for new contracts.
Account Management
Liaise with internal stakeholers to ensure purchases and repairs are justified;
To follow up with Engineering invoices verification and payments to Suppliers & Vendors;
Resolve any interruptions to operations.
Cost and Budgeting
Ensure proper accouting of expenses by working with internal Finance Department;
Assist in department’s technical/cost savings projects to optimise operating costs;
Contribute to cost savings initiatives, outsourcing activities
Others
Any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/ Electronic or Mechanical/ Aeronautical with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience (in an Aviation/ MRO/ Aviation Service Provider organisation);
Preferably with knowledge of commercial aircraft operations and contracts;
Prior experience in aviation warranty, insurance management;
Basic knowledge in finance and costing
