Associate Planning Director/Planning Director


  • You are strategic steward for the company’s business: an advocate for what’s right for the Health & Wellness industry. You are a leader and mentor offering thought leadership both inside and outside the company. You contribute back to the business, by owning a key part of training the next generation of planners or publishing thought leadership.
  • You help to grow the healthcare business and create opportunities for the company within the industry based on our company’s expertise. Senior clients seek your council.
  • You create career paths for your team members, giving them feedback and creating opportunities for them to thrive. Thought leadership comes naturally, as your broad and deep experience leads you to new ideas naturally.


Your focus as an Associate Planning Director/Planning Director:


  • Support Brand platform and brand architecture for strategic Health consumer health, Heath tech, Nutrition, and wellness brands. You will lead regional planning development for a few corner stone clients.
  • Act as a strategy leader advising client on their Coms and Marketing needs, with a holistic vision across the range of services provided by Ogilvy (Coms, advertising, PR, Digital experiences, etc.…)
  • Lead business strategy work, and help your client transform their marketing models.
  • Contribute to our Ogilvy Innovation positioning in participating to our tech and digital acceleration (AI in marketing, digital partnership, Marketing technology).
  • Foster partnership with the rest of our organization and businesses to develop proper Health acceleration products and bring the best of our company’s practices and expertise to all Healthcare clients/business partners.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to industry partners and a critical part of the client-facing leadership team.
  • Lead regional new and existing business and knowing how and when to determine a direction for new projects.
  • Running strategic workshops as well as being conversant enough on other types of strategy such as engagement, social, data to be in the discussion and spot opportunities.
  • Seeking to inspire those around you to create and deliver ever better strategic work.
  • Coaching and developing more junior strategists in your team and supporting the company’s strategy team to evolve and grow.
