- Perform extraction, sample preparation and quantitative analysis of targeted metabolites on fermentation and in-process materials to support development of high value healthy food ingredients with novel functionalities
- Perform chemical screening using targeted and untargeted metabolomics experiments, LC-MS method development and validation, analysis and interpretation of HRMS data for biomarker discovery and identification
- Coordinate and manage multiple project requests, managing timelines and resources, to streamline the analytical process and ensure timely completion
- Responsible for the accurate, timely and compliant execution of assigned projects, analytical testing and related documentation
- Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all analytical and laboratory equipment
- Provide technical training on laboratory instrumentation to other laboratory analysts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and future development of analytical capability.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry or related discipline
- At least 2 to 5 years of working experience in analytical chemistry laboratory
- Technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in HPLC-UV/RID/ELSD, LC-MS/MS (QTOF and QQQ), including sample preparation.
- Proficient in qualitative and quantitative workflows
- Excellent organizational, project coordination skills, laboratory management and prioritization skills in multiple tasks, meeting strict deadlines.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in various data-processing and statistics software is a plus
