NUS-ISS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of International Programmes to co-drive our digital transformation initiatives across the ASEAN region and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, digital economy trends, and partnerships with corporations, governments, and universities. This role will focus on expanding the international reach of NUS-ISS, developing strategies to grow new programmes, and fostering impactful relationships in the digital transformation space.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Head of International Programs to execute the institute’s 2030 strategies, enhancing the international footprint across key markets and segments including corporations, governments, and universities.
  • Develop and implement strategies for outreach, business development, and managing channel partners to meet international programme targets.
  • Drive partnerships with stakeholders in digital transformation initiatives, including government bodies, industry leaders, and academic institutions.
  • Lead and manage the commercial and legal aspects of cross-border contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks in international transactions.
  • Curate, develop, and deliver digital transformation programmes aligned with institute offerings, exploring new formats and delivery methods to meet market needs.
  • Foster and grow long-term relationships with international clients and partners, driving customer engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (post-graduate qualification preferred) in a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in international business development or government liaison related scopes, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in managing partnerships, business development, and international programmes in the ASEAN region.
  • Deep understanding of digital transformation trends, industry best practices, and policies at a national and global level.
  • Strong experience working with governments, universities, companies, and channel partners in digital economy initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and top management.
  • Strong networking skills and an ability to manage cross-border relationships and transactions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
