About the Job

Our client is in search of a Business Development (BD) Manager to take charge of prospecting and acquiring new customers throughout the APAC region in a solitary capacity. This role demands a talent with a fervent commitment to meeting and exceeding targets. With the focus to expand the company’s offerings in the region in key markets across Asia Pacific through new development, existing hotel conversions, franchising, branded residential, and partnerships or affiliations with other travel brands and companies to maximize owner’s investment with well-researched site location, fact-based project feasibility and metrics-targeted performance.

Requirement

• Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Marketing, Hospitality or equivalent.

• At least 3 years experience in a Business Development / Real Estate role or in a Hospitality Management role or equivalent

• Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages such as fluency in the mother tongue are a plus.

• Excellent report-writing, financial modelling, and presentation preparation skills.

• Critical thinker, solutions-oriented, self-starter, entrepreneurial

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Results-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong track record of generating revenues

Responsibilities

1. Establishing relationships with real estate owners and developers, property agents, architects, quantity surveyors, interior designers, financial institutions, and other hotel development-related enterprises for potential opportunities at key strategic markets

2. Obtaining quality leads from targeted cities (China and APAC) via different networks

3. Sourcing and identifying business opportunities and deals.

4. Structure and negotiate contracts of Management, Consultancy, and Joint Venture and closing deals

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, business partners and industry professionals for qualified leads and business opportunities generation.

6. Evaluate and review business opportunities and deals by conducting market research, financial analyses, financial modelling and feasibility studies entailing cash-flow and yield analyses and projections.
