A*StartCentral (A*SC) is A*STAR's open innovation platform for deeptech startups. A*SC includes physical centre(s), entrepreneurial and market access programmes to grow global deep-tech startups. We are seeking a team player to partake in developing and implementing venture building programmes for deep-tech startups. Personnel must have interest in nurturing founders for deep-tech startups, and go-to-market strategies. The personnel should have an acumen for partnership and entrepreneurship to commercialise deep-technology.
Prospective candidates must have prior experience in programme management, preferably with venture building or entrepreneurship. Successful candidate will be involved in programmes and operations of A*SC to provide continuum of support to result in globally investible startups. This role would be involved in fabrication and engineering lab which carries out innovation work, prototyping and testing.

Requirements:
- Minium a degree in engineering. Preferably in electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering.
- Prior experience in advising project teams, start-ups and founders in areas of engineering product development and production. This would be part of existing innovation and venture building programme.
- Require to have experience in managing and operating a fabrication lab, or makerspace.
- At least 8 years of experience in engineering product innovation, ideation, testing, product development and production. Preference would be for candidates who have regional production experience, compliance to accredition and standards.
- Able to deliver structured programmes with training outcome
- Ability to engage innovation & enterprise ecosystem for partnership. This includes venture capitalist, trade association, corporation, acaemdic institutions, government agencies and service providers.
- Team player and ability to handle ambiguity in a dynamic landscape.
- Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritise work while being meticulous and organise
- A self-starter, independent and curious to learn.
- To expedite deeptech startups in their go-to-market journey.
- Deliver innovation and enterprise programme that enable deep-tech startups to have market entry and traction
- Tracking of program and project status and generate reports, including budgetary control and commericalisation outcome
- Maintaining the engineering and fabrication lab, and upkeeping to the pace of project teams and startups.
- Provide continuum of support to result in successful deep-tech startups.
