What The Role Is

You perform the role of a Civilian matter expert by providing advice on various Human Resource (HR) issues such as deployment, employee affairs, benefits, awards, and exit management.

What You Will Be Working On

You also serve as the main point of contact with the Public Service Division (PSD) on Civilian HR matters. In addition, you perform HR functions for Political Appointees and their Secretaries. Your challenge lies in understanding the policies and guidelines governing Civilians' career management and balancing MINDEF/SAF's interests with the requirements of the Public Service Division. You will need to manage increasingly complex and multi-dimensional cases in a thoughtful yet professional and timely manner.

What We Are Looking For

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with at least 2 years' working experience in HR management. Possession of strong organisation, time management and interpersonal skills is essential. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
