We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized team member to join our Scientific and Business Management Team and contribute to the growth of our institute. The roles and responsibilities of the Senior Manager (Scientific and Business Management), include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage academic research contracts in IMCB, including negotiations with external parties, liaising with research teams, I&E and Legal and provide timely reporting to HQ as requested.
Provide administrative support to IMCB ethics committee, including animal use ethics and publication ethics, and facilitate compliance of research teams to established ethical standards.
Organize regular Lab admin meetings as well as train and equip Lab admins with grant management knowledge and skills.
Assist in providing administrative support to Project Management Office as required.
Job requirements
Excellent planning, problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
Resourceful and self-driven.
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Able to multi-task and deliver results under tight timelines.
Able to work independently and in a team to deliver results under tight timelines.
Willing to take on ad-hoc additional duties.
