Our client, a global MNC in a specialised medical device space, is looking for a Regional Marketing Specialist to join their Digital Health System team in Singapore APAC office.

The Marketing Specialist will be the technical software expert, collaborating with regional cross functional teams, to identify business opportunities, support product development, pre-launch, launch, & post-launch activities, market adoption, and project execution. He/she will manage full product lifecycle process of assigned portfolio from conceptualization, evolution to disposal.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Business strategist: Keep abreast of all digital health related systems market trends and competitors’ information and value proposition to analyse and implement business strategies on target markets, market segmentation, SWOT analysis, competitive intelligence, positioning, and others that may be brought about by the market dynamism.
  • Pricing strategies: Prepares competitor comparison portfolio and communicates clearly to individual country sales/marketing members. Sets up competitive pricing for all products within the assigned BU.
  • Product branding and positioning: Translate technology, science & customer requirements into marketing messages and product positioning, and communicates clearly with country representatives (sales/marketing people, country heads). Identify strategic initiatives to engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support the continuous success of the assigned BU
  • Product launches: Design and implement product initiatives including new launches & services, introducing product enhancements, and coordinating pricing modifications
  • Product development: Markettechnical expert of product range within company and within competitor space to assist the team in improving the specification of product to meet current needs of new or existing clients.
  • Product training: Deliver comprehensive and highly professional product and marketing training to all business partners (distributors/affiliates) in different regions. Develops high impact marketing and educational programs leading to system and brand conversion.
  • Product support: Resolve all product-related complaints and corrective/preventive actions across a professional and timely manner.
  • Marketing events: Organize & support regional marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, etc., as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science with minimum 2-3 years application support experience in clinical lab or patient care settings
  • Minimum 1 year’s relevant marketing / product experience in digital health or software development industry, with technical experience or support experience for health IT system projects.
  • Technical knowledge of SQL, HL7, Unix, Oracle are advantageous
  • Possess Health Informatics and clinical reporting. Understanding of basic financial statements is advantageous
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver effective training programs and professional business communication with overseas counterparts.
  • Analytic skills with ability to understand complex market & product data to produce sound business recommendations
  • Open to high frequency travel across the globe
