The designer in this role will be part of the Design team within Move. You will be supporting the lead product designer and engineering team. You will be expected to apply product design capabilities to develop impactful experiences for both external customers (transport service customers), as well as our internal team.

—What you will be working on—

Experience Design

  • Work closely with the engineering team and product stakeholders to workshop for new product conceptualisation or improvements to existing experiences
  • Identify key customer segments required for development and eventual implementation of product
  • Develop low to high fidelity prototypes and pilots for testing of new or improved service or product concepts

User Interface Design

  • Work closely with the design team to create UI component kits for faster design delivery
  • Support the development of Westpoint’s Design System
  • Create wireframes to communicate design deliverables to engineers and stakeholders

Product validation and refinement

  • Support testing plans and project timelines for product validation/refinement
  • Work with stakeholders to conceptualise customer satisfaction measurements to assess impact of recommendations
  • Execute testing sessions with stakeholders and customers

Delivery Of Internal Team Experience

  • Support the Westpoint team experience, driving regular reviews and customer feedback sessions, with the aim of enhancing internal team members experience with the organisation
  • Support the process and logistics of innovation and training opportunities

—What we are looking for—

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in product design
  • Experienced in implementing Design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools as needed
  • High sense of responsibility and ownership in problem-solving
  • Ability to facilitate 1-1 or 1-many customer interview sessions comfortably
  • Ability to consider multiple perspectives when designing solutions
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with scrum methodologies
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Highly independent and able to drive product development through remote collaboration
  • Native proficiency in English
