  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

You will be part of the Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE) that champions for the fair treatment of domestic workers in Singapore and promotes cohesive social integration among the community.

Responsibilities:

Operations

  • Supervise operation team who provides employment related advisory and assistance to Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) and employers.
  • Plan and oversee the deployment of operations team and 24-hour helpline duties.
  • Engage stakeholders (e.g. authorities) and partners to collaborate and/ or provide MDW-related assistance, services or programmes.
  • Review work processes to streamline and improve operations.
  • Generate statistics, analyse case trends and present the updates and findings via monthly meetings, reports, etc.
  • Plan, track and ensure the KPIs are met.
  • Plan and manage budget and its utilization.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management, which includes organising of event(s).

Outreach and Volunteer Management

  • Oversee and manage outreach and volunteer management team.
  • Plan volunteers and outreach strategies, activities and programmes (e.g. volunteers’ training and appreciation).
  • Review plans to ensure the strategies, activities and programmes remain relevant.
  • Share updates and findings of outreach and volunteers via monthly meetings, reports, etc.
  • Plan, track and ensure the KPIs are met.
  • Plan and manage budget and its utilization.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the MDW related sector and managerial role.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and has a flair for stakeholders/ partners engagement
  • Passionate about helping MDWs and promoting harmonious employer-employee relationship
  • Good organisation skills, meticulous and ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Team player and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work on weekends
  • Proficient in IT applications (e.g. Microsoft office) and social media (Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
  • Ability to converse in MDW’s native language (such as Burmese, Tagalog or Tamil/Hindi) is an added advantage
