  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and businesses, and expand the Company’s distribution reach and channels.
  • Monitor team members’ sales results and ensure monthly sales budgets for all brands are met.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and forecast activities.
  • Project the number of contacts to be made by the sales team.
  • Engage in market research to develop new accounts with potential customers.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from field visits.
  • Identify sales prospects and prepare presentations and proposals.
  • Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships.
  • Communicate new product information, special developments, and feedback from field visits to company staff.
  • Coordinate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Implement salon sales activities to increase sales and reduce stock.
  • Assist in marketing events, seminars, trade shows, and educational activities.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees, and ongoing coaching and sales training to the sales team.
  • Follow up on and collect payments.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in business related fields
  • Minimum 4 years in Sales / Business Development
  • Experience and contacts in hair care industry are highly advantageous
  • Excellent in communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Result oriented and proactive in achieving sales targets
  • Aggressive and strong sales acumen
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • 5 days’ work week, Mon to Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm
