The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for Accounts Executive, to join our Finance team in Singapore on a 6 months contract basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, AMENA, core focus of the role is to support the business by performing accurate and timely invoice posting, process employee claims and payment runs. The role will be responsible for the preparation and reporting of weekly cash flow forecast to headquarters. The role will perform diligent check on vendor bank account details.

Key Accountabilities And Performance Indicators Include
- Accounts Payable Transaction
- Perform posting of invoice using best practice in SAP. This involves full comprehension of an end-to- end workflow.
- Ensure all transactions associated with AP are following accounting policy and business model.
- Prepare weekly payment run and ad-hoc urgent payment run within SAP and upload to banking platform.
- Audit and process employee claims with guidance from T&E & other related Policies.
- Perform diligent check on bank details by calling vendors to verify and checking input in SAP.
- Handle external and internal queries from vendors spread around multiple regions.
- Maintain and ensure completeness for vendor invoice filing (soft copy).
- Prepare weekly Cash Flow Forecast and ensuring low variance between the forecast and actual cash flow.
- Support month end closing activities.
- Provide invoice/statement support for accruals.
- Other projects and tasks as and when required.
- Reconciliation and Reporting
- Prepare monthly vendor reconciliation for all vendors and follow up on invoices from unreconciled items by the following month.
- Prepare GR/IR reconciliation including follow up with vendors for invoices and maintain the GR/IR GL accounts up to date.
- Quality Control and Compliance
- Ensure submitted expense claims are legitimate business spend with correct coding before posting into SAP.
- Ensure Delegated Authority Limits are applied on all transactions and seek approval accordingly.
- Any abnormalities must be immediately reported to the Financial Controller.
- Assist in financial process improvement
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent and the following:
- SAP (R3) skills acquired over a 3 to 5 years period in a multinational corporation with high AP volumes operating and end to end process without any form of outsourcing (e.g. Shared Services) (Essential)
- Good working knowledge of Zeno (T&E System) will be an advantage.
- Written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
- Computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word) - advanced (Essential)
