About the Chief Product Development Officer (R&D) Role - Based in China:

We are seeking a highly qualified Chief Product Development Officer (R&D) with expertise in the field of electron optics, ion optics, particle accelerators, and related fields. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader, capable of driving innovation and guiding our R&D team in the development and design of cutting-edge electro-optical instruments and systems. The Chief Product Development Officer (R&D) will play a critical role in shaping the company's technological strategies and fostering a culture of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the R&D team to ensure the successful development and innovation of electron/ion optical systems and components
• Oversee large-scale projects such as scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and semiconductor measurement equipment
• Collaborate with top research institutes and international partners to drive advancements in electro-optical systems
• Design and optimize optical properties using mainstream computational software (MEBs, Cosy, COP, SIMION, etc.)
• Guide the strategic direction for product development and commercialization of advanced electro-optical imaging components and systems
• Provide expert leadership in electron microscopy methodology, including sub-nanometer micro-imaging
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including academic institutions, research labs, and industry partners
• Develop and implement a long-term technology strategy that positions the company as a leader in the electro-optical industry. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and competitive developments, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation
• Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle, from conceptualization to product development, ensuring projects align with business objectives and meet market demands. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to achieve milestones
  
  
  

To be successful as a Chief Product Development Officer (R&D), it requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of both technology and business

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 20 years of experience in the design and fabrication of instruments for electron/ion optical systems, or research experience in electron microscopy methodology
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Deep understanding of optical system design, imaging technologies, and electron microscopy techniques
• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with global partners
