Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expenditures remain within the approved budget.
  • Conduct cost analysis and forecast the final project cost.
  • Contract Management:
  • Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
  • Negotiate and agree on the terms and conditions of contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Manage and administer contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Project Management:
  • Work closely with the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the project meets the client's requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is carried out to the required standards.
  • Prepare project progress reports and present them to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, providing recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Handle and resolve any financial disputes or claims that arise during the project.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Produce regular financial reports, including cost control and cash flow forecasts.
  • Advise on any variations or changes to the project that may affect costs, ensuring these are documented and approved.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Relevant diploma or degree
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and other relevant IT tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Familiarity with construction and contract law.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus
