Our Client, an established asset manager from the West, has been expanding its Asia footprint in recent years. Gaining steady increase in net inflow amidst a languishing bear, there is now interest to strengthen their foothold in bringing on an Institutional Sales Associate.

The Sales Associate will be responsible for developing and managing relationship with institutional clients, which include sovereign and pension funds, endowments, and insurers, as well as private wealth channels. Preparation and delivery of presentations, marketing materials, RFPs, responding to client queries, are daily burdens to bear. Understanding clients' need and working with internal teams to deliver customised investment solutions will be vital for this hire to succeed.

We are seeking ~3-6 years' experience financial services related salesperson with entrepreneurial grunt. The ideal candidate should come with a blend of the following traits:

  • An analytical mind - to research on multi-asset classes with a bottom up approach
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - the spirit to not say 'no', and find creative ways to get things done
  • Relational sales approach - long-term minded relationship-focused business developer

This role is applicable for Singaporeans and PRs.
