The Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme, School of Social Sciences, invites applications for part-time lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting tutorials and assessment) the core courses in the Programme, specifically:
- Fundamentals of Politics
- Politics of Singapore
- Introduction to International Relations and Foreign Policy
- Introduction to Political Theory
- Introduction to Public Administration and Policy
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend lectures (to be discussed and agreed with course coordinator).
- Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.
- Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts).
- Invigilate the final examination.
- Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students’ queries on course related matter.
Qualifications and requirements:
- A least a master's degree in social sciences, specialization in a political science subfield will be an advantage.
- Some prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage.
- Able to tutor/lecture during office hours.
