BPOINT is seeking experienced professionals to join our creative team. As part of the international affairs and policy team, you’ll assist our clients with issues on geostrategic developments and trends that affect the flows of goods, services, and investments. This role requires a deep understanding of the APAC’s political landscape and an ability to connect disparate issues into a cohesive strategy. The International Affairs and Policy Consultant role is characterized by its multifaceted and dynamic nature, requiring a proactive and dedicated approach.

Responsibilities

l Track and analyze major threat trends for the client, such as Global Sanctions/ Regulatory Environments / and Geo-Political Issues

l Conducts program-related research and writing

l Advising on current political and policy trends across the APAC, including potential business implications

l Build and maintain relationships with key international stakeholders and governmental organizations.

Qualifications

l Degree in a field such as International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Finance, Trade, Business, International Development, or Public Policy.

l Bachelor’s degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and three (3) years or more experience; Masters and two (2) years or more experience.

l Experience working in international relations, international conflict resolution, congressional relations or equivalent preferred. (Experience working on the Hill or with Congressional Staff is preferred.)

l Highly motivated individual with ability to self-task and develop own research.

l Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

l Prior experience in policy development and/or implementation a bonus.
