[What the role is]

You will be part of a dynamic team to develop and implement Workforce Singapore’s employer strategy. Through partnering with and working through employers, Workforce Singapore seeks to improve employers’ ability to access broader talent pools and optimise employers’ existing and potential workforce through upskilling, reskilling and facilitating internal career mobility.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop Workforce Singapore’s strategies to engage employers, working with colleagues from Workforce Singapore’s Enterprise Development Group.

  • Conceptualise and design new initiatives as part of Workforce Singapore’s support for employers.

  • Review and propose recommendations for existing programmes.

  • Identify new capabilities that Workforce Singapore or our partner agencies may need to support the strategies.

[What we are looking for]

Knowledge/Skills

  • Experience in strategy and policy development.

  • As this role will entail frequent exposure to senior management and company executives, applicants are expected to be mature, independent, resourceful, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Adept in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

Aptitudes/Abilities & Other Characteristics

  • Enjoys strategic thinking and problem solving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Possesses clarity of thought in verbal and written presentations.

  • Ability to work both independently and in teams.
