We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/ Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic public relations, branding, and marketing communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in driving impactful campaigns that elevate our brand visibility and engage key stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations, branding, and marketing communication strategies across digital and offline channels to strengthen brand presence and drive engagement.
  • Oversee websites, intranet, and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), ensuring consistent brand messaging, SEO optimisation, positive audience engagement and data-driven performance.
  • Plan and execute campaigns and events, while leading the creation of high-quality content across multiple channels, aligning with institutional messaging and key milestones.
  • Lead the production of digital and print assets, ensuring all collateral aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Track and analyse the performance of communication strategies and campaigns to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team’s objectives.

This role reports to Assistant Director, Partnerships and Engagement (Communications).

Requirements

  • Degree from an established university in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a tertiary education environment.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic communications initiatives.
  • Expertise in website development, SEO, and digital platform optimisation.
  • Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., social media platforms, CMS) and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience in social media and website management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to work well independently as well as collaboratively within tight timelines.
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful, with intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset.
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced changing environment and willing to explore new ideas.
