The Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible in event execution, handling setup, testing, and maintenance of AV equipment. He / she will collaborate with event planners, conduct pre-event checks, and ensure smooth operation during events.
Our Expectations:
Set up and test audiovisual equipment for events, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, and screens.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Collaborate with event planners to understand AV requirements and provide technical support.
Execute timely and efficient setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment during events.
Conduct pre-event checks to ensure all AV equipment is in working order.
Monitor audiovisual elements during events to address any technical issues promptly.
Work closely with internal departments, including event management and IT, to coordinate AV requirements.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for additional AV support as needed.
We seek an experienced AV Technician with at least 1 to 2 years of proven track record in audio visual in hospitality or events industry. You should be proficient in operating and troubleshooting audio visual equipment, possess knowledge of multi-faceted AV setups, including sound systems, lighting, and projection.
