Objective: To support the MEDEZE Group Pte. Ltd.'s current operations in Singapore while laying the groundwork for financial processes suitable for future regional expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with both local and future anticipated international accounting standards.
Financial Reporting: Produce and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring they are suitable for investor presentations and statutory obligations.
Consolidation Preparation: Set groundwork for the consolidation of financial statements in anticipation of regional expansion.
Multi-Regional Compliance: Stay abreast of financial regulations in potential expansion regions, ensuring the startup is poised for seamless financial integration when entering new markets.
Tax Strategy: Manage timely and compliant tax filings for Singapore and develop tax strategies suitable for regional offices.
Software Proficiency: Recommend, implement, and manage accounting software.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively with external auditors, investors, and regional financial institutions as the company expands.
Continuous Learning: Regularly updated knowledge regarding industry-specific regulations, especially concerning healthcare startups in Asia.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Master's degree or advanced courses in international finance or related fields would be advantageous.
Certification: A recognized professional accounting qualification in Singapore (eg, ACCA, CPA Singapore).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, Previous experience in companies with regional offices is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in major accounting software
Soft Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and a team-oriented mindset.
