  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Humanties & Social Sciences.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Curriculum development, course delivery (face-to-face/online) and project supervision for youth and adult learners in the following areas:

  • Eldercare

  • Health & Ageing

  • Longevity literacy and planning

  • Care Planning

  • Lead and identify new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with the industry, institutes of higher learnings & related agencies
  • Keep abreast with latest trends and developments in the areas of eldercare
  • Handle administrative work relating to teaching and assigned projects
  • Supervise students during internships
  • Be up to date with the latest developments in the eldercare sector, in the areas of technology, community solutioning and care planning

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Gerontology or equivalent

  • Direct experience and keen interest in eldercare

  • Experience in teaching communications related subjects and/or have IT skills will be an advantage

  • An agile team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Project/time management and attention to detail
