Job Description

KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking an SAP Basis consultant to join our team. You are expected to possess functional and technical expertise to deploy SAP Basis solutions and best address our customers’ needs.

This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • You are expected to support/perform SAP Basis Administration activities such as transporting objects to different systems and ID creations.
  • Document SAP processes, procedures, and plans; including changes, upgrades, and new services.
  • Responsible for managing system security, including user management, authorization, and access control.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve technical issues related to the SAP system.
  • Responsible to manage system backups and ensure that the system can be restored in the event of a failure or disaster.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders and team members
  • Builds a close working relationship with clients to enhance the image of the KPMG

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/Netweaver/ABAP Application Server monitoring and Administration.
  • Familiar with SAP ECC and HANA Environment
  • Expert in investigating and resolving issues related to system performance
  • Experience with SAP Security Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and can deliver results and meet timelines with minimal direct supervision
  • Experience with SAP HANA and cloud computing is a plus.
