Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that our customers receive their products in excellent condition and on time. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations and plays a key part in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1)Order Picking: Accurately pick products from inventory according to order notes
2)Packing: Safely and securely pack items into appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transit. Ensure correct labeling and documentation are included with each shipment
3)Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment by verifying address information, weighing packages, and applying postage or shipping labels. Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely dispatch
4)Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organization of the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow
5)Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before packing. Report any issues to the supervisor
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills for using inventory and shipping software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
