My client is a global travel management firm established in Europe over 30 years ago and has since expanded into over 10 markets worldwide. They adopt a follow-the-sun model to ensure 24-hour assistance is readily available for their clients, ensuring quality and timely service around the clock. You will be required to work Mondays to Fridays, on an 8-hour shift between 8.30am-6pm.

About The Job

In this role, you will be responsible to handle the travel needs of international VIP corporate clients by tailoring the services to meet their expectations with their preferences in mind. You will need to formulate complex itineraries and manage all travel bookings, including air, rail, hotel and/or ancillary reservations, while working within their budget, logistical requirements and quality standards, and maintaining booking files and documentation. You will need to deliver the highest standards of customer service by developing excellent customer relationships, as well as reporting and resolving errors / client complaints, which includes the processing of complex reissues and pricing records accurately. You will also be working closely with travel partners and vendors to negotiate the best rates and prices to obtain the most cost-effective deals for clients.

About The Manager/team

You will be reporting to the General Manager and will work with a team of colleagues to support global clients from the US, UK and Australia.

Skills And Experience Required

The ideal candidate should come with relevant Tourism and Travel qualifications and come with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a corporate travel / travel management company. You will need to be a good team player and have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with global clients who are native English speakers. Coming with good experience in supporting VIP/CIP clients, specifically in the entertainment industry, as well as managing group travel arrangements with multiple destinations, will contribute to your success in this role. You will be required to work with multiple IT applications and systems to update and maintain client information, and prior experience in using Travelport / Galileo GDS will work to your advantage.
