Logistics – Warehouse Assistant
Salary range : $2000 Basic excluding OT
Working hours : 8am to 5.30pm ( 1 hour lunch )
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Unloading: Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy by verifying contents against relevant documentation such as permits and packing lists. Report any discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Inventory Management: Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records by adhering to Warehouse Management System (WMS) protocols. Efficiently organize and store goods in designated locations and perform regular physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and maintain stock accuracy.
Outbound Processing: Fulfill orders by picking items accurately according to WMS procedures. Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, and manual pallet jacks, to safely transport and move inventory within the warehouse. Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines.
Equipment Operation (Preferred): Operate forklifts and reach trucks, with relevant licenses preferred.
Receiving and Issuing Goods: Manage the receiving and issuing of goods, including loading, unloading, and stuffing or unstuffing containers as necessary.
Cargo Handling: Arrange, move, and inspect warehouse cargo to ensure accuracy in quantity, type, and quality.
Requirements:
1-2 years of warehouse experience.
Possess forklift license
