- Manage payroll processing and liaise with respective HR team for necessary instructions & documents required for payroll processing
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system
- Ensure data confidentiality and security by maintaining payroll records accurately
- Prepare payroll-related and ad-hoc reports as required
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all government and statutory claims, such as CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax matters (IR8A & IR21), etc.
- Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees and other departments
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues
- Hands-on experience with Info-Tech payroll system (or other payroll software) will be an added advantage
- Coordinate with finance for reconciliation of payroll and accounting data
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior/management team from time to time
Job Requirements:
- O level, A level or diploma holder
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience
- At least 1-2 years of payroll related experience
- Ability to work 5.5 days / week (alternate Saturday)
- Attention to details and meticulousness
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel for payroll calculations
- A team player with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset to meet deadlines
- Able to start immediately or within a short notice period
