Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team for a period of 6 months. This person will report directly to Financial Controller.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including:
- Invoicing, issuing DO/Credit Note, payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Check, prepare monthly vendor invoices and submit to FC for approval.
- Check, prepare monthly staff claims and submit to FC for approval.
- Check and verify Vendors’ statements.
- Involvement in month-end closing.
2. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
3. Administrative duties
- Assist in placing orders for customers.
- Managing repairs and upkeeping of office maintenance.
- Handling of pantry needs (like replenish of coffee beans/snacks and toiletries).
- Ordering name cards for staff.
- Registering and deregistering Cabcharge account of staff.
4. Assist in any other tasks that maybe assigned by the management.
Qualification/Experience:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance/Business Administration with minimum 2-year working experience.
- Familiar with NetSuite would be advantage.
Skills/Attributes:
- Good team player with effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry.
- Able to work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
