Executive/ Manager/ Senior Manager - Procurement
Salary for Executive up to $4K
Roles & Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with users on tender procurement and contract novation, reviewing procurement submissions such as expenditure papers, requirement specifications, and recommendation reports for approval.
Support the Head of Procurement in the managing of the procurement and contract management function
Establish and manage relationships with other teams, providing advice and support for their procurement and contract management activities.
Develop and implement policies, processes, and systems to optimize daily operations, while establishing internal control policies to ensure corporate governance.
Provide professional advice, support, and training to users as part of ongoing service delivery.
Lead the development and implementation of procurement and contract management activities for common ICT systems, goods, and services.
Strategize procurement to align with stakeholders' needs, timelines, and organizational goals, maximizing value and delivering effective outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement roles, with good appreciation of procurement and governance best practices.
- Critical thinking, analytical and conceptual abilities to understand issues and resolve them.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in e-procurement solutions, preferably SESAMi.
- Experience in setting up the procurement and contract management function.
- Strong project and people management skills.
